Interactive Activities with Your Child

Literacy Themed Snack/Lunch Tins

Choose a favorite book and center a snack time or lunch around its various characters and events.

In This Dr. Seuss Muffin Tin Meal:

-Cat in The Hat Red and White Strawberry Banana Skewers
-Kitty Cat Sandwich
-The Cat's 'Hat' filled with organic milk
-Whole Grain Gold Fish Crackers
-Yoghurt with red pearl sprinkles
- Thing 1 and Thing 2 Marshmallow Treats

*Muffin Tin Meals are a simple and fun way to serve food to kids. The small size of the muffin cups make great portion sizes for small mouths.

There are so many books and themes to choose from. Muffin Tin snacks/lunches can center on Alphabet letters, numbers, favorite books, colors, cartoon characters and so much more. Snack/Lunch time does not have to be a boring routine; it can be an informative and stimulating activity which children will look forward to everyday.

~Turn daily lunch/snack times into periods of excitement and learning which your child will love.
